Add iOS Shortcut capabilities via the Pushover iOS app
Make it easier to integrate Pushover into iOS Shortctus, by introducing added Shortcuts capabilities via the Pushover iOS app. Make it easier to select the user key and and application key. make it easier to add various options.
-
Alert settings per channel, configurable on app side
It would be great, if app "Alert settings" would (partially) be configurable for each channel, too.
Especially the existing options - Play sounds - Always use default sound - Play high-priority as alarm
and a new option
- Choose and use high-priority sound
would be helpful.
-
Additional features/options for "Quiet hours"
I would like to see the following "Quiet Hours Priorities":
1.) Show notification AND play DEFAULT sound for all message priorities 2.) Show notification AND play SELECTABLE sound for all message priorities (E.g. to choose a calmer sound during sleeping hours or for less noisy environments.)

Provide a webhook to pushover gateway
It would be great if Pushover users could create webhook receiver URLs bound to Pushover Channels to receive webhook payloads that can be transformed then sent to pushover notifications. A simple JSON extractor could be use to map data received in the JSON to payload variables which can be quoted in Pushover strings
You can limit the number of webhook events / hour / day etc and use paid plans to control use.
A Free plan should at least accept say 10-20 webhooks a day for example.

API method to play alert sound even on silenced phones, but not violate quiet hours
The API is fairly powerful, but it appears to me to be lacking one important concept:
I need to send messages that will play alert sounds even on silenced phones, but NOT violate quiet hours.
That is, semi-critical messages important enough to noisily alert users even on silenced phones, but not so important that users are awakened during quiet hours.
Optimally, such messages would eventually result in alert sounds once the user's quiet hours expire.

Tray app
I would like a tray app (preferably for Windows, MacOS, and Linux) that is just a client for sending to my existing devices, it does not need to receive messages. I don't need another web based client. I want something that allows me to quickly shoot off messages to any or all of my devices

Push Additional Attachment Types - eg: Audio File (MP3)
I would like to see the ability to push other types of file attachments in addition to images. Attachments could follow the same rules as your JPEG/images as far as size and retention. I would like to Push MP3 recordings for my purpose, but could see other applications for sending different types of files like a PDF report, short video, etc.

Add support for GitHub issues, PRs, and Actions
I'd like notifications for new issues, new PRs, and whether or not an Actions workflow succeeded or not.

Kodi Add-on creation (Request)
Would someone be willing to create a Kodi add-on in order to see Pushover notifications within Kodi?

Scheduled notifications. Post now, but receive later.
I would like some delayed delivery option.my reasoning: quiet hours are good and well and for emergencies I use emergency priority, but among my use cases is the following: I have self written IMAP client running 24/7 which sorts and analyses mails and generates notifications. Quite a few are below “need to see immediately” but in the “see first thing in the morning”. As such it would be great if I hadn’t have to check the pushover app but just get them delivered when my quiet hours end. For my main use case I implemented it myself by writing my

Alexa skill for notifications on Amazon Echos
I would really like to send notifications to my echo via an API. And as I can see, there is currently no Alexa skill with this option. Maybe it’s a thing for pushover?

Open Client API Download Image Message
According to the documentation of "Attachments": As of version 3.0 of our iOS, Android, and Desktop apps, Pushover messages can include an image attachment. I want to know whether there is a way to get the image data from the download object of Open Client API? Something like shown in the attached picture.

Pushover Desktop - Auto-open URL's
I mostly use pushover to send URL's between my PC and my phone and vice versa. Would be great if the desktop client had an option to automatically open URL's received (or at the very least open the passed URL when tapping the notification).

Correctly support RTL text in Android app
The Android app currently does not handle RTL languages such as Arabic in LTR context. I have included a screenshot as an example. As you can see, the order of text is completely messed up, and text alignment is incorrect.

Bold Notification Titles
Is it possible to have in the apps a bold notification title to differ the title from the body?

Increasing Ringer Volume - starting with Vibration only in App
Hello,
My kids sleep in the same room as I do. At the same time, I must not miss an alert when on duty. So I have to make Pushover really loud to never miss it. Which wakes the kids... Much nicer would be if I would tell Pushover to first vibrate for 20 seconds, then start at low volume and get louder slowly to max volume.
Please!
Thank you!

Do Not Disturb in App on Application Level
Hello,
the new Do not Disturb Feature in the App is very nice. But much nicer would be if each Application in the App had its own Do not Disturb button. Then, I could e.g. mute an Application for 2 hours where I know someone is working on it and is triggering alarms. This would make my nights much better...
Thanks!
Peter
