Alexa skill for notifications on Amazon Echos

I would really like to send notifications to my echo via an API. And as I can see, there is currently no Alexa skill with this option. Maybe it’s a thing for pushover?

I would really like to see an Alexa skill so I could add Alexa as a device and have notifications appear on my Alexa devices.
