Option to Keep Unread Notifications in iOS Notification Center

Problem currently exists when a user taps on a single notification, ALL notifications from Pushover are immediately deleted from the iOS Notification Center.

Please create a settings switch to allow the user to choose which behavior is most productive for them.

--------------------

Explanation:

Most similar apps will leave the unread notifications in the iOS Notification Center and only remove the notification the user taps on. By Pushover deleting them all at once, it somewhat defeats the purpose of having individual notifications.

For example, maybe the user reads one of the notifications, taps on it and deals with that issue. But then they have to focus their attention elsewhere. Now they no longer have ANY of the notifications to remind them of the other items that need their attention. They must remember to now open the Pushover app and read through them in the app, instead of easily scrolling through unread notifications.

Some examples of other apps that do not delete all notifications at once are:

IFTTT

Slack

Apple News

Bloomberg

(I’m writing about iOS but would include Android if the same problem exists there as well)
