Heartbeats for Pushover
Please consider adding heartbeat functionality for Teams accounts.
This would, IMHO bring you up the next level of robustness needed for some businesss.
Simply you provide a 'heartbeat' url, which your customer polls every say, one minute, if the url has not been accessed in five minutes, a message or SMS is sent warning the user the heartbeat has expired, and their monitoring system may be down.

Do Not Disturb in App on Application Level
Hello,
the new Do not Disturb Feature in the App is very nice. But much nicer would be if each Application in the App had its own Do not Disturb button. Then, I could e.g. mute an Application for 2 hours where I know someone is working on it and is triggering alarms. This would make my nights much better...
Thanks!

Provide a webhook to pushover gateway
It would be great if Pushover users could create webhook receiver URLs bound to Pushover Channels to receive webhook payloads that can be transformed then sent to pushover notifications. A simple JSON extractor could be use to map data received in the JSON to payload variables which can be quoted in Pushover strings
You can limit the number of webhook events / hour / day etc and use paid plans to control use.
A Free plan should at least accept say 10-20 webhooks a day for example.

Custom Vibration pattern
Custom sounds very cool but please add Custom Vibration pattern :)

Actionable notifications
A similar request (same subject) was declined in past because of missing support in iOS, but it seems to be possible to implement in iOS now.
I came across other 2 competing apps that support this functionality also on iOS, I also tested that. It is possible to add multiple action buttons in notification with custom names. These actions may call URL or make a HTTP request (e.g. POST request). Unfortunately Pushover misses this functionality (probably only this one, I have no other reasons to go with competitors).
Would you check it please, it seems it is now possible to

Wear OS Pushover app
It would be great if the Pushover app for Android would be extended to support Wear OS and hence be possible to install it on Wear OS watches. This would make it easier to interact with the app.

Clear notification
It would be really useful to have the ability to clear-down a notification some time after it was first raised.
This could be done by returning a unique GUID when the message is posted, and then using that GUID in a subsequent API call to clear-down the message.
The individual clients (phone, tablet, etc) could have the option to permit messages to be remotely cleared-down, or to retain them if desired.

Add Android Auto messaging support
I use Pushover to notify me of security events like my Garage door, front door, and storage being opened. It would be nice if they could appear in Android Auto and read out loud when I'm driving. I assume this would have to act like a messaging app in Android Auto, such as What'sApp, SMS etc.

Implement End-to-end encryption
Currently, pushover stores messages in plaintext format, but it seems they are encrypted prior to being sent to apple/android pus services. This means that messages can be intercepted should pushover be breached, or where pushover staff act maliciously (to be clear, it’s the possibility that it could happen which is an issue, I am not saying pushover staff are untrustworthy).
I would like the ability to encrypt messages prior to sending them to pushover, that way the above scenarios would be solved provided the secret is not shared with pushover.

Icon / Symbol for special messages
I would like to ask for a new option I would like to use with pushover.
i use pushover for my smarthome for receiving messages (e.g in or outside homezone, alarm system on off). But always getting a message in the startcenter ios is terrible... because u must click them away. Here is my idea:
Maybe u could integrate an option that this status is displayed as a continual tray icon next to the clock (e.g special icon for homezone on/off, ...) and not as an message in the startcenter, until another message arrives for disable that symbol again. For

Like to have individual icons
I'm a big fan with just a glance to see which message or what content the message is about. Individually adjustable icons for each message would help a lot. Makable?

Add "Delete" and "Mark read" options in Android notifications
If Android notifications contained the options to "Delete" or "Mark read" instead of just clicking on the message to open the app, you could quickly triage messages dismissing not so important ones. This would also add the ability to interact to some degree with the notifications from Wear OS as well as the lock screen or with notification mirroring in ChromeOS or Windows 10.

Gauge max and min for Apple Watch complication glances
Some kinds of Apple Watch complications can show a gauge with a max, min and current value. Include fields in the API for max and min for them.

Push Additional Attachment Types - eg: Audio File (MP3)
I would like to see the ability to push other types of file attachments in addition to images. Attachments could follow the same rules as your JPEG/images as far as size and retention. I would like to Push MP3 recordings for my purpose, but could see other applications for sending different types of files like a PDF report, short video, etc.

Option to show custom icon instead of Pushover icon on Apple Watch notifications
I am curious if it would be possible to show a higher-resolution custom icon instead of the Pushover icon for alerts that have a custom icon. I already know it's Pushover - but at a glance it would be cool to see a custom icon of my choosing when the alert initially comes through instead of having to tap into it.
The current limitation on size for the custom icon is too small for this as it already shows up very pixelated when viewed on the watch, but maybe there's some sort of caching that could be done for a

Add Pushover as a share target on Android
Add Pushover as a push target so when you click share on Android you can select the app. It would also be great if you could select a specific app such as iOS, desktop, or even another group.
