Update knowledge base with current API libraries for PHP
Hey there, I needed to use API for one of my projects and I was looking for a PHP library. Existing libraries were missing features and not supported so I wrote my own with all the possible features, including the latest custom sounds feature. It is very comprehensive library, if you guys are interested to list it in your knowledge base then please feel free. It has been installed over 11k times, has few stars and one dependent, and has been used for some time already. The library can be located here: https://github.com/slunak/pushover-php

Option to show custom icon instead of Pushover icon on Apple Watch notifications
I am curious if it would be possible to show a higher-resolution custom icon instead of the Pushover icon for alerts that have a custom icon. I already know it's Pushover - but at a glance it would be cool to see a custom icon of my choosing when the alert initially comes through instead of having to tap into it.
The current limitation on size for the custom icon is too small for this as it already shows up very pixelated when viewed on the watch, but maybe there's some sort of caching that could be done for a

Within PushOver App - Allow do not disturb to apply all / some of the sending systems
This could be determined by where you select do not disturb. Also, just so you know. I really like PushOver.

Add the option to have 2 different application icons for dark/light theme
My application icon uses black as the main colour. (not able to be changed...) This works great on the light theme apps. but if the user is using a dark theme my icon does not work. I think it would be slick if we could have the option to add a second icon to match with the dark theme.

Custom Vibration pattern

Ability for short mp4 clips instead of GIF only
It would be great to have the ability to send MP4 clips as well as GIF. MP4 is more efficient and will look alot better.

Enable receipt/callback for non-critical alerts
There seem to be options to provide "delivery receipt" callbacks and also cancel messages, but these seem to only apply to emergency priority messages.
Can this functionality be extended to all message priorities to enable better notification management and the ability to perform actions if notifications aren't received, timeout, or if you want to clear a notification down once the issue is resolved.
-
Clear notification
It would be really useful to have the ability to clear-down a notification some time after it was first raised.
This could be done by returning a unique GUID when the message is posted, and then using that GUID in a subsequent API call to clear-down the message.
The individual clients (phone, tablet, etc) could have the option to permit messages to be remotely cleared-down, or to retain them if desired.

Add iOS Shortcut capabilities via the Pushover iOS app

Alert settings per channel, configurable on app side
It would be great, if app "Alert settings" would (partially) be configurable for each channel, too.
Especially the existing options - Play sounds - Always use default sound - Play high-priority as alarm
and a new option
- Choose and use high-priority sound
would be helpful.
-
Additional features/options for "Quiet hours"
I would like to see the following "Quiet Hours Priorities":
1.) Show notification AND play DEFAULT sound for all message priorities 2.) Show notification AND play SELECTABLE sound for all message priorities (E.g. to choose a calmer sound during sleeping hours or for less noisy environments.)

Provide a webhook to pushover gateway
It would be great if Pushover users could create webhook receiver URLs bound to Pushover Channels to receive webhook payloads that can be transformed then sent to pushover notifications. A simple JSON extractor could be use to map data received in the JSON to payload variables which can be quoted in Pushover strings
You can limit the number of webhook events / hour / day etc and use paid plans to control use.
A Free plan should at least accept say 10-20 webhooks a day for example.

API method to play alert sound even on silenced phones, but not violate quiet hours
The API is fairly powerful, but it appears to me to be lacking one important concept:
I need to send messages that will play alert sounds even on silenced phones, but NOT violate quiet hours.
That is, semi-critical messages important enough to noisily alert users even on silenced phones, but not so important that users are awakened during quiet hours.
Optimally, such messages would eventually result in alert sounds once the user's quiet hours expire.

Tray app
I would like a tray app (preferably for Windows, MacOS, and Linux) that is just a client for sending to my existing devices, it does not need to receive messages. I don't need another web based client. I want something that allows me to quickly shoot off messages to any or all of my devices
