Android: Don't open the app from notifications action
When pressing the "acknowledge" button from the android notification the Pushover app opens. This is unnecessary and kind of annoying.
For example, the Gmail app's notification actions do not cause the app to open.

App Language in German
I would be happy if the app for IOS could be translated into German.

Title only notifications
I understand that a notification needs to have some content.
Currently, a "Message" is required, and a "Title" is optional. I would like to be able to send a "Title" only, so no "Message." Would it be possible to make the minimum requirement one OR the other?

Tagging messages
I would like to be able to add Tags to messages. These would be displayed in the clients. Tapping a tag would lead me to a filtered view showing only messages with this particular Tag.
Tags could be pushed as a comma separated list.
An exemplary use case would be server monitoring, where each message contains the service name, host name and data center name as tags. This would make it more easy to show messages regarding a particular thing without manually typing it to search in the message content.

Use open client API from JavaScript code - CORS is blocking requests
I am using chromebook and I implemented a website that acts as a status bar (showing various notifications about calendar, weather etc.).
I want to add support for showing pushover notifications but I cannot access messages api:
Access to fetch at 'https://api.pushover.net/1/messages.json?secret=xxx&device_id=yyy' from origin 'https://mywebsite.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: The 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header has a value 'https://client.pushover.net' that is not equal to the supplied origin. Have the server send the header with a valid value, or, if an opaque response serves your needs, set the request's mode to 'no-cors' to fetch the resource with CORS disabled.
The problem is

Flag to not group notification
It would be nice to have a flag if you did not group notification.
-
Filter for "Sub" - subscriptions
As subscriptors are anonymous for me who has created a group i can not send individual messages to that person.
Now this could be solved by adding a predefined user key.
Eg. I know user "AAA" has joined my group, but i do not know his user key, but i know he is user "AAA". If i could push a message containing "User=AAA", the app should be able to filter out that and bring upp another notification sound and or coloured text etc. Other users could choose to mute these messages.

Image on samsung gear watch
Is there any way to make the image be on the actual notification on samsung gear watch? I have to swipe over the messages to see the image where when I get a text with image the image shows right on the notification. So when I get a pushover I can just glance at my watch and see the image instead of having to go to the actual message. Hope that makes since thank you.

I'd like to be able to group an app's messages by the Title in the iOS client.
The app could appear in the top level summary multiple times. I'd have my NMS set the title to the hostname mentioned in the alert. This way, I can swipe-delete all messages for a single host easily once an issue is resolved.

Filter based on Priority
Could we have a filter icon for Priority please near the Search bar?

Add pushover notification app to Ubuntu Touch and other Linux phones.
I haven't figured out yet how to add pushover to my mobile phone running Ubuntu Touch. I could run the android APK in a container but then don't get the push notifications, which kinda defeats thepoint. Expect the same is true on all Linux Phones and my browser isn't one of the supported ones for the desktop version.

Ability to push notifications to Slack channel
We already send notifications from our application to our engineers. However it would be great if the notifications could be forwarded to Slack channel as well to create "case tickets" and enable discussion about them. This would also decrease anxiety for engineers while they're wondering if someone is doing something or not. Right now I don't see a way to send pushover notifications to slack in any simple way.

Acknowlege all notifications button on APP's home screen.
Any chance we could get an "acknowlege all notifications" button on the apps home screen? At present its a minimum of three taps to open the app, Tap on IFTTT (in my case) Tap on notification, Tap on acknowlege. Would be really cool and convenient if there was a button on the apps home screen to acknowlege. Thanks for considering!

Make failed requests visible in web dashboard
All request errors should be shown in the web dashboard so we can debug devices like Apple homepod which are not able to show you failed requests.

App notification frequency limits
I recently had a bug in an application which caused it to burn through all 10,000 allowed notifications in a few minutes.
This application should send at most 1 notification per day. It would be useful if we could set a limit on expected notifications per period when we define apps.
For example, I'd set my app at 10 notifications per day MAX, and 300 for the month. (I'm expecting no more than 31 a month in normal usage).

Play a different notification sound based on the e-mail subject or contents. IE Camera1 has detected motion plays "North camera has detected motion in your front yard"
So, I purchased the CostCo Reolink 12mp 16 channel 8 camera bundle and it only lets me set one e-mail recipient. I can not set one per camera per notification type.
But, it will title the email based on which camera has detected motion, or what type of motion. If I could define words to look for..
ie: Camera 1 chooses from a list of camera 1 sounds, then if camera 1 AND motion OR person OR Animal OR vehicle is present, it would play one of the 4 sounds I upload for that camera.
Same for Camera 2 through

App for Trmnl e-ink dashboard
I have been playing with the new affordable Trmnl e-ink dashboard (https://usetrmnl.com). Having a Pushover dashboard app would be a great for businesses.

Report or API to get a list of message IDs?
Upstream system calling PushOver API is not storing the message ID. Is there a report or API to get a list of message IDs?
-
Allow message filtering before delivery
Many applications allow sending of messages but are not very granular about different message types.
Example: backup application that sends a message every day for whether the backup is successful or failed. It would be great if only the failure messages get delivered to the device.
If text or regex filters were supported on a per application basis that would be a great way to filter out stuff that doesn't require a notification. And of course filtered messages should still count towards daily allowances.

It would be nice if unseen notifications could be brighter/bolder than seen ones
In this way unseen notifications will appear more distinct than seen ones
