E-mailing notifications to your devices

Pushover includes an e-mail gateway feature that allows you to send e-mails to a custom Pushover e-mail address and have them be converted into Pushover notifications. Every user has a unique @pomail.net address assigned when their account is created, and additional addresses can be created with custom options.

You can find your default Pushover e-mail address on your dashboard, as well as create additional ones or delete aliases at any time.

Each e-mail alias can have its own settings such as a unique sound, priority level, and delivery options.

SMTP Server

Please note that while Pushover provides an e-mail address for you to send to, we do not provide an SMTP server for you to relay messages through.  You will need to contact your normal e-mail provider or ISP to find out how to send e-mail from your own e-mail account to your Pushover e-mail address.
