Configure inactive device limit

Can I configure the inactive device limit for Android? I very infrequently get notifications, but they are for critical problems. We had a power failure yesterday and I didn't get a notification. When I checked the pushover account logs it states:

about 1 month ago		   Device "******" has been inactive for 181 days, deactivating

I want to turn this function off or raise the limit to something like 2 years as a workaround.

Your notification token with Google may expire by then, so even if we don't deactivate the device on our end, you may not receive notifications sent to it in the future.

If you don't anticipate using the app for 6 months at a time, you could send yourself a notification every so often just to keep the device active.
