Display image attachment in notification

Apologies if this is possible and I'm missing it, but it seems like it's currently not possible to display the image attachment in the notification itself. 

I've set up a pushover api application for displaying notifications when an item is played on my plex media server. I'm sending the album cover art as an image attachment with the notification, but only the icon from my api app settings is displaying in the notification itself.  This is for macOS.  

I do see the image attachment if I look at the notification in the pushover client. But I'd love for it to be displayed as part of the notification itself.

Unfortunately we do not have any customization options for macOS/Safari notifications beyond a title and message body.

Is the image attachment a file path on the server? Or a URL?

I'm using a file path, but I definitely agree it would be great to just pass a URL. 👍🏻

Is the image attachment a file path on the server? Or a URL?

I use Pushover for my home automation and desperately wish I could send a picture attachment using a URL. Instead, I have to have the actual path of the file, not the URL/API photos that my system takes.
