initially start with a read-only API to list out the existing webhooks would be useful but also an API to create/amend Webhooks ?

Hi,
It would be great if the PushOver app for Android did not require Google Play services to run. When using custom ROMs like GrapheneOS, Lineage or similar privacy focused ROMs, the Google Play services are either not present or installed without network permission (Play services are deliberately signalled as offline). It would be great if the Android PushOver app could use the already available websocket itself as an alternative or fallback on such devices to register a new device and receive the notifications.

Regular pushover messages can be marked as html; i've got PRs from gitea that have a body that's html; can a setting be added to the webhook to indicate the body is html?

The new (Feb 2026) webhook support is great. One suggestion: add the ability to insert line breaks (via \n or
) in the Body Selector field in particular. Will improve readability of bodies built from multiple elements of the originally received notification.

Android PushOver app, add option to "turn off" line wrap.

On the Android PushOver app, it would be nice to "turn off" line wrap and be able to scroll across to see the entire line(s). My app generates a sorted list and is broken up when line wraps. It would be a nice feature to just scroll across to see the entire line as opposed to having PushOver "Wrap It".

Additional length on email body

I want to see the full email that is being sent to Pushover. For example, I need to unsubscribe from a vendor's marketing emails, but cannot do so currently because only so much text comes through the app, thus cutting off the unsubscribe link.

Unfortunately with this vendor, their marketing emails automatically match the user's email, which is what their notifications are based on...which is my pushover alias. While I hear an alert that one of my servers is down, it may just be a marketing email about their Super Bowl ad.

I can't find any literature about the current character limit for emails.
